The European Mortgage Federation (EMF) is delighted to announce the addition of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) as its newest observer member.

RICS is a globally recognised professional body renowned for its expertise in land, property, infrastructure, and construction. With a history of over 150 years, RICS sets international standards for the surveying profession and promotes ethical guidelines for its members.

Commenting on RICS’ admission as a member, Luca Bertalot, EMF-ECBC Secretary General said:

“We are thrilled to welcome RICS as our newest observer member. With RICS’ expertise in land, property and construction, we aim to drive positive change and further advance our collective efforts in meeting the challenges of climate change and funding the hope for a better future.”

Commenting on this, Sander Scheurwater, Head of Public Affairs for EMEA and the Americas at RICS stated:

Representing the public interest and with our members working across the built environment life cycle, we look forward to contributing to the EMF’s efforts towards a more sustainable world.
